The law firm “Savov & Partners” was recognized as the most sustainable for 2024, alongside 13 other companies from various sectors. “Savov & Partners” is also the first law firm to receive a certificate of compliance with ESG standards, issued by the international company ICAP CRIF.
Attorney Savov was invited as a guest and speaker at the conference organized by ICAP CRIF. He spoke on the topic “ESG Dilemma: When Sustainable Goals Meet Realities” and shared his expert opinion on how banks and businesses can prepare for ESG regulations. Among the most important pieces of advice for banks and companies were ensuring a well-trained team; conducting a thorough analysis of what data the company collects; and verifying whether internal policies are in place. Attorney Savov also noted which regulations govern internal audits and which regulations apply to them.
Companies that meet ESG standards stand out from non-certified companies with lower commercial risk, higher profitability, and better financing terms.
